19 Jharkhand Battalion NCC Ranchi, VMPS
NCC unit at Vidya Mandir Public School, Ranchi is under the 19 Jharkhand BN NCC of Ranchi Group, which was established in 2022. First batch of 25 cadets will be recruited in 2022, whereas second batch consisting of 25 cadets will be enrolled in 2023. Cadets are trained through participation in various events.
AIMS
To develop character, comradeship, discipline, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens.
To create a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose.
To provide conducive environment for motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
